You are checking your news feed and the connection suddenly drops: you will be able to continue to read and interact with your news feed. You won't even notice connection problems.

Tap on the sync icon when you're on a friends' profile, in a group or on a page. oStream will automatically synchronize this content on your device every hour.
Your newsfeed and your notifications are synchronized by default every 5 minutes.
